OUR STORY
A lasting foundation. A living faith.
Get to know the history, leadership, and beliefs of North Valley Baptist Church.
SANTA CLARA · SINCE 1975
Small beginnings. A continuing purpose.
North Valley Baptist Church began in 1975 with a congregation of 75 people. Dr. Jack Trieber became pastor the following year. Over the decades, the ministry grew to include church and educational facilities at Clyde Avenue and De La Cruz Boulevard.
Our story is a testimony to God’s faithfulness. Our purpose remains centered on the Scriptures, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and helping people grow in their walk with God.
OUR PASTOR
Dr. Jack Trieber
Pastor Trieber has led North Valley since 1976. His ministry emphasizes Bible preaching, Christian education, local outreach, and world missions. He and his wife, Cindie, have served the church together for decades.
Golden State Baptist College was established in 1996 to prepare preachers, missionaries, and Christian workers for ministry.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our faith begins with God’s Word.
The Bible
The Scriptures are God’s inspired Word and our final authority for faith and life. North Valley uses the King James Version in English-language ministry.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and offers salvation through faith in Him.
Grace & the Gospel
Salvation is God’s gift, received by faith in Jesus Christ. The church is called to share this good news and teach believers to follow Him.
